This year Elliot decided to take racquetball at school and then he joined the Waterford Racquetball team. They have the largest, most successful team among schools their size. They conveniently play at the Alta Canyon Recreation Center which is near the school. For not having much experience, Elliot did great and seems to enjoy it unless he gets paired up with a big Senior who has been playing for years!
Clark made the basketball team this year and so far their team is undefeated. It doesn't hurt that they have a guy on the team who is 6'5" tall! The kids and especially the parents of the kids on the other team have a hard time believing he is really in the 7th grade! Clark enjoys playing ball at the school and at the church.
Sister Tess Brown
Tess is now serving in a threesome with a Senior Sister which is a new experience that she is really enjoying. The other exciting thing that happened this month is that she had to fly to London, get her passport stamped and fly back. She wasn't too thrilled with having to travel all by herself, but she survived it and hopefully won't have to do it again. She is getting used to living in Poland and her language skills are improving all the time. She and her companions have a few investigators that they are working with and are hoping for a baptism soon. She is definitely looking forward to warmer temperatures!
This year for Spirit day the Sophomore class all dressed up in green. Too bad Elliot doesn't get into the whole dress up thing!
