medium: steel and plastic forks. This was my second module project. Here the assignment was to use a rigid module, so I chose plasitc forks. They are glued to three wires spiraling out of the base, forming a sort of triple helix. I wanted to create a flame-like form, with the pointed forks and graceful lines combining to form a sort of 'dangerous beauty.' My friend, Liz, said it also looks like a flock of startled birds taking flight. I like both concepts a lot. | |||
