For Spring Break this past year we decided to take the family to Florida. We found great fares and a great hotel. Isn't the Internet great? Well, we had a ton of fun and the weather was great everyday except for Sunday, when it poured like crazy. That worked out great for us because Sunday we had only planned to go to church and basically rest from the two previous days at theme parks and rest up for the next three days at theme parks. See what you get for keeping the Sabbath day holy!
We went to Universal Studios, the Magic Kingdom, the Epcot Center and Disney's Animal Kingdom. We spent two days at the Epcot Center, so we could do all the countries. So, five days total — by the end we were getting a little tired. One of the highlights for us was when at Universal Studios they asked Alan to be "Al Borland" from the TV series "Home Improvement" and to actually film a segment with "Tim, the tool-man Taylor" on the original set. Someday, if we can figure out how to get our video clip of it onto the computer, we'll add it to our web site! It was a lot of fun. They didn't even know his name was Alan (knee slap!)
Sorry, the pictures of this trip aren't that great. We can't seem to locate the original photos and so we "captured" these (low quality) digital pictures off of our digital video. Traveling with eight is great!? But it's a lot of work to keep that many people together — thank goodness for walkie talkies!
