This one really was a house -- the original light keeper's family had 8 children.

The wind was so great for kite flying that Alan decided to buy another Trlby. This one was three trick kites stuck together -- notice the purple, yellow and red in the picture.
 And they are up! You probably didn't know that Alan is a very talented kite flyer.
 Our last morning, we walked to Haystack Rock one more time. It is very cool in the morning mist.
You could not believe how many huge starfish were breakfasting on mussels that we could see while the tide was low...
 Hundreds....!
 Packed up and ready to head home -- what a great trip! I would recommend it to everyone!
