Fondue on New Year's Day

We even managed to fit in our New Year's Eve tradition of having fondue -- we just did it on New Year's Day. Elliot did his best to make sure nothing got left out!
 We start with a yummy Swiss cheese fondue and a beef broth for cooking small pieces of steak.
 The cheese is my favorite.

 This apron used to belong to my mother and she would wear it Christmas Eve. My sister Melanie has had it these past 13 years and offered it to me when I was helping her move. It was fun to wear it. We miss her.
Time for a little chocolate fondue.
 Dipping macaroons and fresh fruit is the greatest -- I always get too full.
 The rule is if you drop something in the fondue you have to kiss the person next to you. Elliot kept avoiding standing by Grandpa :)
