25th Wedding Anniversary

This is the Joseph Smith Memorial Bldg. which used to be the Hotel Utah. The Roof restauraunt is on the top floor where you see all the big windows. Notice the silhouette of the Salt Lake Temple on the left side?
Of course since it was summer, the sun was still high in the sky and the blinds had to be pulled, but imagine how pretty at night with the temple all lit up!

For old time's sake, we took a walk around the temple on the way back to the car. A nice guy offered to take our picture.
We may not be as young as we were 25 years ago, we are just as happy if not happier!
Park City get-a-way, here we come!
The Marriott Resort had several buildings. We were in this one on the top floor in the middle.
We spent Saturday afternoon walking up and down Main street which of course included a scoop of ice cream at Cow's Ice Cream Store.
Another favorite place to stop is a photo gallery by a man named Scanlan. We love his stuff and this year as a anniversary gift to ourselves we bought his coffee table book which has many of our favorite photos in it. This one is one of his newer ones and isn't in the book, but is one of my new favorites. Too bad I don't have any bare walls!
That Saturday there happened to be an old car show right outside the Marriott. I thought Alan and I should just jump in this car and head off for our second honeymoon!
The happy couple -- the skinny versions of ourselves.

For a special little surprise, Alan ordered these M&M's for me. Some said "I love you" and the others said "25 Happy Years". Isn't he just a "sweet" guy?!
