Our 27th Anniversary

Saturday, after we did an endowment session at the Salt Lake Temple, Alan took me to dinner at a cute little house turned cafe in Bountiful.
 We ate out on the patio which was nice except for a particular pesky fly.
 We had salad with amazing rolls from a Salt Lake bakery that I am going to find someday and then Alan ordered Pollo alla Gratte.
 And I ordered Chicken Marsala.
Since Alan was working on our actual anniversary (a Monday) I surprised him by bringing a picnic lunch for us to enjoy out on the patio between the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and the Temple. We happened to see a member of our ward there who offered to take our picture.
 The flowers there are always so spectacular! I know, I always say that.
 That night our cute kids served us a romantic dinner for two. Yeah, I guess we pretty much celebrate everything by eating :)

 After dinner, they brought us our wedding photo album so that we could walk down memory lane for a few minutes.
 Our wedding was a wonderful chance to have so many family members with us. Nine of these wonderful parents, grandparents and aunts are now gone. What a wonderful reunion it will be to see everyone again in the next life!
