New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve fondue party with our neighbors the Perrys and the Stewarts.
Loren and Phillip visiting with my friend Leslie Perry.
Clark and his friend Nicholas Stewart - the youngest of the group - thrilled to be old enough to "stay up."
Madeleine and my fiend Christine Stewart - mother of the Stewart kids.
The swiss cheese fondue is my personal favorite.
I think anything dipped in it would be wonderful!
Elliot's personal opinion is that steak cooked in oil is the best part of all the holidays.
Tradition has it that if you drop your food into the fondue, you have to kiss the person standing next to you.
Too bad is was Dad and not some cute guy!
Bishop Perry giving us an example of real "string" cheese.
Yes, I was there too. The photographer doesn't make it into too many photos. Darn.
Elliot, Michael, Clark and Nicholas - all members of the 2005 club!
The whole group waiting with bated breath for the ball to drop.
And the celebration begins...
We head outside to try and wake the neighbors. Well, any of them that were silly enough to go to bed before midnight!
Madeleine offered to clean up.
