Ladies helping to assemble several hundred women's hygiene kits.
It was fun to see all the boxes loaded up. They ended up going to the YWCA Battered Women's Shelter and to homeless women that can line up each day to sleep at the "Road Home."
A bunch of ladies learning how to crochet granny squares that can then be made into afghans for hospice patients.
We had several people sewing up the fleece cancer caps.
Aren't they great?!
These soft "feelie hearts" are for children who have lost a loved one -- something to keep in their pockets or to hold in their hands to remind them that they are still loved by those who have gone on and those who are still here.
I was surprised by how many women wanted to color the ABC books. I think it must of been fun to just sit and color and socialize.
One of the ladies on my committee -- we had matching aprons donated by the owner of Rhodes Rolls who lives in our neighborhood. People were so generous!
