Anne and Loren's Honeymoon
Home > honeymoon
Loren and Anne at the Peery Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. The next day they left for a two-week honeymoon in Paris!
Before they left for the airport, they had time to visit the art display at the Conference Center. This is the painting my Aunt Lesa submitted which was awarded a prize.
The rest of these pictures were taken in Paris.
Loren in front of the Arc de Triomphe.
Anne standing in front of some fun prints by Matisse at the Pompidou -- a Modern Art museum in Paris.
Anne surprised Loren and gave him cooking classes as a wedding gift. The classes were called "Cookin' with Class" and are taught in English especially for tourists
The first class they took was a pastry class. This is their instructor Rachel showing Anne how to glaze Crème Brûlée.
How fun to make and then eat!
The next class was shopping at the market and making an entire meal. This is the appetizer: "pino" which is mussels in a saffron sauce, grilled shrimp in endive, and an orange and fennel salad.
Loren plating the main dish starting with carmelized onion.
The carmelized onion was served on the plate with duck breast.
Chef Pino the teacher of the second class.
Anne happy to be buying bread at the market for dinner.
