They wouldn't let us take pictures, but I loved seeing the Star Spangled Banner that flew over Ft. McHenry. You can see it here in the postcard, superimposed over another flag to show you how much of the original flag is really missing. If you can believe it, someone decided to cut out one of the stars to have as a souvenir! This is the flag that inspired Francis Scott Key to write our National Anthem.
