ayja, sarah, me seniors-to-be waiting for our plane in slc in our matching outfits
 jfk: sitting for over two hours in the plane after a five hour layover wondering if we'll ever get off the ground

all the asians (about half our group) with mascagni!!! (we played one of his pieces, cavalleria rusticana, in our concerts) this in the foyer of the la scalla opera house where maria callas performed for thirteen years
 the duomo! so incredible tons of statues---one atop each spire

i know...it's been done :) it was shocking how much the leaning tower of pisa is really actually falling over
 our hotel in montecatini wasn't so great....bad food, a huge black dog/horse that made chewbacca noises, sketchy spaniards, a shower that didn't drain, and electrical plugs that didn't hold all our stuff. good thing we are so darn creative!
 florence: museo casa di dante (museum of dante's house) super cool to see all the stuff we (sam and I) learned about in our dante class) dante was born in ravenna.....hmm....
