Madeleine's Waterford Graduation
Home > graduation
The family awaiting Madeleine's graduation ceremony at Abravanel Hall.
Madeleine is the middle girl in the middle row. As you can see, Waterford graduates don't wear caps and gowns. It is actually fairly tricky to find modest white dresses or skirts. I'm glad the girls are done and we can finnish off with boys who are much easier.
Each graduate stands up while nice things are said about their experience at and contribution to Waterford School. "Ah shucks..."
The Chamber Orchestra performed a "last time" with the Seniors. Madeleine is in the front on the left.
Nancy Heuston awards the diplomas. It was difficult to get good photos because of the distance and the lighting...oh well...
Meeting up with the family afterwards.
The family. Anne should have pushed Clark over so we could see her cute smiling face better -- maybe when she has been in the family a little longer :)
And of course, Madeleine would like to thank her parents...
...and her grandparents for all their support!
Madeleine with her favorite teacher, Frau Adams. Madeleine received the Foreign Language Department award for excelling in German. Apparently Frau Adams started crying when Madeleine received the award and then couldn't stop crying because she would miss Madeleine so much. Everyone should have such a teacher.
Madeleine with some of her good friends, Annie Woller, Sarah Ngo and Sarah Knight.
