Our last stop in South Carolina -- The Boone Hall Plantation. It is the oldest working plantation in the United States. It was here that over a million of the bricks used to build Fort Sumter were hand made by slaves. As a side note, a few scenes from the movie 'The Notebook' were filmed here.
