Phillip and Tess enjoying their cards from their grandparents -- ooh, is that a little green paper coming out of the bottom of Tess's card?
 A "whimsical gift" to Phillip from Grandma.
 So, Tess opens her gift and after turning it around several times still doesn't know what it is. We have to tell her it is the new battery she asked for for her laptop!
 Our goofy son Elliot who has shown quite a flair for the dramatics lately.
Phillip has always enjoyed the Irish / Celtic music that features a tin whistle -- now he can learn to play it himself.
 Phillip likes to draw on the gifts that he gives (totally reminding me of my Grandpa Breinholt). He drew Tess's school photo from when she was 5 or 6 years old. She was cute then and she is cute now.
 Having fun opening presents together.
 A cool book on Typography -- Phillip's passion.
Tess also needed a wireless card -- another testimony that people can get very excited about receiving something they really need.
 My children are getting so old it takes 2 people to get all the candles lighted!
 Happy 19th Birthday to Tess Marie!
 A little bit older and we would need more than one box of candles for Phillip.
