Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Dear Friends and Family,

It has been great to hear from so many of you. We really look forward to getting "caught up" on everyone’s busy lives – the pictures are really fun too! Since we always like to do something different, this year Alan has put us on the web. We got the idea about the time we got our digital camera. Michelene loves the new camera and is really excited about a digital alternative to traditional scrapbooking. It’s a bit challenging to get things going, but we kind of like to be involved in new projects, and family history seems to be a common hobby we enjoy.

This past year has been a good one for our family. We are all healthy and happy – most of the time! It’s funny how you don’t think you’ve really done much until you sit down at the end of a year and list the highlights. Here are some of 2001's highlights:

Our street being taken out of our old ward and put into a new ward,
Family vacation to Disney World
Alan and Michelene’s weekend getaway to Monterey California,
Phillip and Loren turning 16 and getting their drivers’ licenses,
Attending Alan’s sister Diane’s Harvard Graduation in Boston,
Camping and Grand Canyon family vacation,
Tess making the Waterford Volleyball Team,
Madeleine playing soccer,
Fun at the Dalton’s cabin,
Halloween,
Loren and Phillip going to their first (girl’s choice) school dance
Elliot playing Jr. Jazz basketball
Clark spending three mornings a week at preschool,
Michelene spending three mornings a week at home all by herself!

We are so grateful to be a family living each day together and especially we are grateful for the knowledge we have of the Savior and his sacrifice for us, so that we can return to live with him and our family eternally. We hope this Christmas season finds you and your family well and that this coming year will be all that you desire.

Love,
   A, M, P, L, T, M, E, & C
