I made Alan pull over so I could take a picture of the Bougainvillea that we saw blooming everywhere. It was so beautiful!
Loren was very excited to have us meet Magda and her son Jesus Villarreal. These wonderful people were just waiting for the gospel. They progressed very quickly and were baptized just 3 weeks after first meeting with the missionaries.
Magda was especially attached to Elder Brown and was sad to see him leave. They are so happy to have the gospel in their lives.
Lupita invited all of us to Sunday dinner. She was always really good to the missionaries -- fed them often and gave them hair cuts. Brother Moreno also came to dinner -- he was a big help to the missionaries.
Loren with Myriam and her son Alan -- great members and friends to the missionaries.
The Castillo Family. A wonderful convert family that has 2 older boys, then 2 darling girls and a new baby Neddy. They are very enthusiastic about their new church!
The Castillo kids love to sing hymns and primary songs. They each have their own hymn book with their name on it.
Waiting for our flight at the airport in McAllen.
With Grandpa and Grandma.
