We stayed here at the Wine Valley Inn. When we checked in, the lady at the desk asked us if we were interested in doing some wine tasting and when we said "no, not really," she pretty much didn't have anything else to suggest doing. Some people just don't really know how to have fun do they?
Our room was in the building on the left -- the one with the open window.
The room was modern and definitely European feeling.
Shopping on Copenhagen Drive.
Windmills right in town.
I enjoyed seeing all the blooming flowers.
This is where we bought our Aebelskiver pan. I made Alan stand there for yet another photo -- poor Alan. He is truly truly a good sport about the whole picture taking thing.
So Saturday morning Alan went to town making aebelskivers for all of us...
It is actually sort of tricky and requires some practice and technique.
I also bought an expensive bowl to remind me of the royal copenhagen china that I can't really afford. It was fun to serve the aebelskivers in them.
Hot with a spoonful of lingonberries and some powdered sugar --they were delish!
