The group walking towards the flower conservatory in Golden Gate Park...
Because of the controlled climate inside, there are many exotic flowers and plants to see. These pitcher plants are able to catch water and even various and sundry bugs that venture in never to return.
Many beautiful beautiful flowers.
There were many varieties of oranges and lemons.
The very cool dome roof of the conservatory. Occassionally while we were looking around at all the flowers, mist would start spraying everything including us --- kind of like at the grocery store in the produce department!
Another fun place in the Golden Gate Park is the Japanese Tea Garden...
It was my first trip to a Japanese Tea Garden. It was wonderful and artsy with great reflection pools.
The whole group in front of Buddha...watch for the contrast later in the slide show!
One more reflection pool.
Our cousin Kurt Sandholtz making pasta for Sunday dinner.
Annie and Carrie Sandholtz.
Boy cousins having dinner on the deck. It was a beautiful day! LtoR: Clark, Joe, Ben, Coby
Mothers and daughters
The Brown family visiting the Sandholtz family for Sunday dinner and games.
Both families together minus Carrie the photographer. It was so nice of them to have us over to spend the day together!
The kids in front of the Oakland Temple with its magnificent grounds. It was so beautiful and peaceful -- definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
