Over half way to San Francisco and still happy!?
The gang on Fisherman's Wharf at the end of Pier 39 with Alcatraz in the distance between Madeleine and Loren.
Alan bought yummy hot mini donuts for us. As we were standing around eating them, I had a piece of one in my hand and a bird swooped down and flew right past my head grabbing the donut right out of my fingers. It took me a minute to realize what had happened -- the little thief!
Enjoying delicious clam chowder in the famous Boudin Bakery sourdough bread bowls.
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum. Clark and Elliot with a couple of rugged mateys.
Do you really want him to give you your first kiss?
The lookout over San Francisco Bay and Bridge.
We stopped for a few minutes of beach time....
The men in the family.
One, two, three jump! So is it good jumping or good photography?! Actually it's slightly out of focus, so definitely not good photography. But hey, easier said than done!
We were able to meet up with our cousin Jessica who lives in SF and go out to dinner together -- very fun!
Tired out from sightseeing, we watched movies on Mom and Dad's bed back at the hotel.
Elliot trying to pick up Coit Tower -- couldn't quite do it!
The view from Coit Tower parking lot. If you look closely, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance.
A closer look at the same view -- the top half of the main street you can see is the famous curvey Lombard Street.
Union Square was busy that day. It was gorgeous weather and there was an outdoor art show along with nice people handing out Lindt chocolate bunnies. Alan, Elliot and Madeleine (sun glasses) are in the lower right hand corner.
