Later that day we all walked across the street to the cute neighborhood park to watch Jared light off his homemade rocket.
How high will it go do you think?
Ready, set, go!
It probably went 200 feet into the air. He launched it three times, but on the third time it drifted in the wind onto a neighbor's roof and so we were done for the day. Very fun -- the kids loved it!
Gathering to watch the BYU vs. UofU football game Saturday.
Keeping one eye on the game, Phillip had homework to do and Melinda fixed some jewelry for me.
13 to 0 in the 3rd quarter gave BYU fans a false sense of security -- Utah scored 17 in the fourth quarter and won by a single point.
Every morning the girlies went walking -- beautiful things to see throughout the whole neighborhood.
There is something so cool to me about palm trees -- nice green Thanksgiving color don't you think?
Oranges growing in someone's yard....
You can even grow pomegranates -- too cool!
