We're off...like a dirty shirt! (Something my mom always used to say!)
 Our house on the beach.
 The deck with almost a hundred stairs straight down to the beach
 Check out the view from the deck! This is looking to the left....
...and this is looking to the right. Absolutely gorgeous!
 This is looking up at our house from down on the beach. Our stairs are actually around on the other side of the rocks.
 I wasn't kidding when I said there were nearly 100 steps, but I was when I said it was straight down -- obviously not. There were little benches you could sit on to rest on the way up if you needed to -- not us though....we are all young and spry!
 The family enjoying a game of Phase 10. Is Madeleine making a face because I am taking her picture or is she losing the game?
I think she was winning when we played Nerts.
 A lot of the time she was "resting."
 The house had a fun bumper pool table. We had to go to the library to find some instructions on how to play, however!

Madeleine has so very many different sides to her, doesn't she????
 Kicked back and watching a movie.
 Just how cool is fog -- especially in the evening.
 A short day trip into California to see Battery Point Lighthouse. Unfortunately it was closed the day we came --- you just gotta do your homework ahead of time.
